Vertices error

I'm very new to cryengine and I try to build a small FPS game.So I need a custom character and I build it using Maya 2018.Then I successfully exported its skeleton as .char and stuck with exporting mesh as .skin. It shows validation report as "Mesh ****** has 8 vertices with too many skinning influence (Maximum is 8)" . So what can I do to solve this problem?Please anybody help me.I tried to reduce vertices.But then my model lost their smoothness. Help me please
