How should I import my entire level into Cryengine?

I have hallways of geometry with props and animating fans and other assets. If I don't merge all my nodes during export it breaks it down into pieces. How do I export the map with everything positioned correctly in the engine as it was in 3ds max. For example, the ceiling has spinning fans that will be animated and if I export them as static props using the merge nodes option, they won't be able to animate. What export steps should I take to make this happen. Thanks

The hallways can be exported in modules. Then just connect them up in the editor. Fans as animated CGA i think. Unless that has changed.
Yes but I'm asking how I export the map with everything positioned right. The issue is getting them to line up right in the editor. Manually lining stuff up where it is already lined up in max is time consuming and imperfect.
