I've been messing with CryEngine 5.5 and 5.6, trying to use UIElements to render flash/scaleform.
When I assign an UIElement to a material in "legacy" material editor, regardless what we do, the object doesn't show. if I use vPlay in "flashinvoke" node it shows, but doesn't perform the desired function contained in the flash. ex: setHealth. In most of the videos I see online (ex: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcdJ7LEsVoQ" ) As soon as you change to ".ui" and "Dynamic 2D-Map" it automatically shows the "gfx".
If after using the "legacy" material editor and using ".ui" instance reference in the diffuse, I change to the new material editor, it substitute ".ui" with ".dds" what is suppose to happen? Did something change?

It's a very powerful feature (display dynamic/flash texture on 3d Object)... but it's not working on 5.5 & 5.6 ...crytek: please 'fix this one'..
