Can i load Far Cry 1 .cry multiplayer map terrain in to CRYENGINE 5.5 ?

#1
Me and my friends have been playing a lot of Far Cry 1 FFA Multiplayer and we did a lot of modifications to map called mp_surf.

Now , we would like to make our own game like Far Cry 1 (A simple multiplayer ffa shooter) in cryengine but we dont want to create all of the terrain again.

Is there a way to import old Far Cry 1 .cry files (or terrain only) to Cryengine 5.5 , we just need terrain , we will place our own custom objects and vegetation later.

Thank you

there is for terrain in CE2 - I did this with the training level:

You can also scale the height map in photoshop (using the bmp version) to get the terrain in at 1 unit = 1 meter for nicer sculpting. If you run into problems I am happy to help.... oh, wait - CE 5.5 ... scratch that. :) you could try and contact the creator of the project farcry mod - https://www.moddb.com/mods/project-far-cry1 he started with CE2, gave up on copyright scare and wanted to move to cryengine 3 - he should know all about taking the height maps into CE3 - maybe that works with the newest, greatest and shiniest CEV too
and in this youtube video it looks as if he is reducing the 'height stretch' from an imported height map - maybe good to know: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ighy9okJgJs
