Thanks everyone guys. I re-worked the area and added more details and more ambience :)
Yeah ferdinand, i really enjoyed the atmosphere volumetric fog can achieve. I've been more into volumetric fog since i saw it in hunt. :D
For some reason i get quality loss when uploading to cryengine forums, can you guys fix that? Click on picture and open in new tab, you can have real quality on imgur :)

I really enjoy the overall work but there is some things missing. Specularity is missing, contrast settings is not on point, it's too pale, maybe add more variety to the scene (f.ex. different leafs, particles).
Btw you can get rid of the black leaks on the foreground leafs by reducing the amount of voxelization. I'm looking for updates, also in different lighting situations (night, rainy, overcast). 8-)

You can also just increase the diffuse bias to greater than 0.05

Yeah you can rely on diffuse bias but that will light up your whole scene which is not needed. In this specific case I recommend to reduce the voxel amount to get rid of black leaks.

Ahh, that makes sense. By the way is diffuse bias broken in the latest engine version? It isn't doing anything for my scene. I am also not using GameSDK, I am using the 3rd person template instead.
For me diffuse bias is working but you make it way too complicated, there is no need to touch diffuse bias settings at all when setting up a scene.
The conversation is going too off-topic, you can leave me a message if you need advice :)

Here's a few screenshots of the first level of my coop horror game inspired by the mist (by stephen king). S#!t doesn't hit the fan at the very beggining of the game so I decided to create a more relaxing setting (even though I'll probably make some changes to make it look a bit creepier)

(I still have lots of assets left to model for this gas station area, such as cars and misc stuff) Image
