Excluding Source From Team Members

Hello!

We are thinking about using Cryengine! But, I have a few questions about it!

We have a team that is working together from all over the world with contract work. Originally when we did prototypes in other rendering api's(C++), we have our Programmers working from Perforce Server and compile and distribute the tools to other workers(like artists).

How do we exclude source from people who dont need it. (it seems like a bad idea to give everyone access to everything). Im a bit confused on how Artists and other workers could work on a scene, and then integrate our code into it. Maybe having 2 source controls, one for programmers, and another for other workers that pull compiled versions?
