Boolean operators on animated mesh and particles from surface color

Returning on CE after 1y of experimentation with Unity, and some short experiment with Unreal.
My goal is to create stunning videos, with VFX as primary target and stage set as secondary.
I've also experimenting with Houdini and currently working on this kind of effect (go at min 3:31)

As in this video will be possible in CE to use boolean operators to subtract at runtime one object from another, color a surface on the border, generate particles from the color.
