Sorta new to CryEngine, and game design in general.
I created my level with a size of 1024 x 1024, and my texture dimensions at 4096x4096. When I select my material to paint and I paint the terrain, the texture is extremely enlarged. The texture size is 4096x4096.
Go to the material editor and open the material you are painting Under texture maps hit the arrow next to diffuse then hit the arrow next to tiling and adjust the tiling uv. This will adjust the scale of the diffuse texture start with .5 on both and see how it looks then adjust to desired look.
