AA works ingame, yes.
that got fixed real fast then :) why should AA work in the editor?
In the editor, you can render a video sequence to get a movie with a stable FPS, and if there is no smoothing, the quality will suffer

Why shouldn't it?
People use engines to render out Cutscenes or they use them for shortfilms etc.
Artist use them for portfolio pieces.
AA always works in editor for pretty much any game engine i came across.
You could also ask why should depth of field, bloom, SSR or any post processing work in edior.

I thought we are talking about the editor "of the engine"
AA always works in editor for pretty much any game engine i came across.
but you also said that AA was broken in cryengine and does not work at all ...
You could also ask why should depth of field, bloom, SSR or any post processing work in edior.
The full power of any engine is when it is loaded - ingame so the only question I do have would be: Why would you settle for second best and finalize your professional projects or movies or what have you in the editor?

What do you mean, anti-aliasing in the Editor? Yes, I hope to fix in the next patch. If you're talking about a sequencer, it's been a long time ago since the launch of Cryengine 5 and is in Track View

Crytek you make a very huge step with this release :) it's still a many things to do like it always is... But that's impresive :) Crytek congratulate!!! :)

I think , this version is not fun cause ,with consider roadmap gdc 2018 and 5.6 in summer 2018


What is news of schematyc and update roadmap?

It will be updated accordingly in the coming weeks. Schematyc redesign is coming with CE5.6 as previously stated.
Will you in the coming weeks fix this shadows automerge problem? Also there is grass wiggle problem which i reported way back in 2017: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=4154&p=9900#p9900

Hey all,

at the moment, there is no news about Schematyc and when it's going to be released. We will update the roadmap as soon as we are having a better understanding of our development pipeline moving forward from 5.5 - which will most likely happen by the end of this week.
