you can use nodes "UI:events:System:OnUnloadStart" and "UI:events:System:OnUnloadStart" for getiing unload events In an Uiaction.
then you can those events to call an HUD ( gfx/swf ) with an image.

If you are using the MainMenu system from "CRYENGINE GameSDK Sample Project",
there are some function to display an image in the main menu "UI:Functions:mainMenu:AddImage", "UI:Functions:mainMenu:ShowImage", etc..
and some UIactions to display loading or unloading screens and images.
