Framerate issue

Hi, I made a flowgraph for a rgb light annimation, but I lose about 10 fps if I update frequency every frame (Interpol Color).
Is it normal or can be optimize ? Thanks you.

Hi,

The frame rate issues comes when you are setting the property of the color, this requires updating rendering parameters via the script table associated with the light entity (PropertySet).
The only way to alleviate the frame drop in this scenario is to lessen the number of calls made via the PropertySet node.

Thanks for reply,so I must reduce the update frequency ? There is no other way to make smooth transition color without this method ?

Perhaps using Lua directly inside the light entity script would give some performance gain rather than Flowgraph to Lua. Though no way to tell what kind of gain you might get, if any, as I have not tried this myself.
