Cloud System


For my current project, its very large map, and I was wondering if there is a way to have the clouds move and change shapes, run into each other, and if possible have a settings for storms where the clouds get thicker and darker, then clear up after.

Let me know what you think my options are and how I would be able to obtain this.

add noise and change shader texture or opacity.
For the Noise, would it be possible only just before a storm and during it? like in rel life?
If thats what you mean by add noise.

But still does not explain how it would have clouds change sizes and side across. Adding still clouds make it look odd, as if its days and the same cloud is there, then looks off. lol.
