WHY I CAN NOT COLOR MY TERAAIN!!!!????

I have been having a similar issue i'm hoping someone can help with,

I am able to paint the texture on the terrain and flood the layer, but since update 5.5(Preview) The Min and Max height Values do not work or make a difference. thus when flooding a layer, I only see one texture.

Is there any fix for this? I have tried all settings in this thread without success.

In Level Editor/Level Settings try to disable Auto Generate Base Texture, then when painting disable Mask by Altitude and Slope.
It should work, at least it works for me.

I have done as you suggested and the problem still persists.

Is it possible to import the gamesdk into sandbox5.4 instead of using 5.5(Preview)?

I had no problems at all using 5.4

Please see the screenshot attached. I too had that same issue until I unchecked the "Mask by Altitude and Slope" box.

I had no problems at all using 5.4

You can change engine version when you reveal your project in explorer, then you click on xxx.cryproject and Switch Engine Version and revert it back to 5.4..
This should do the trick..
