I had the same thought (that it could be related to detached bones), but the two bones next to the head are detaced aswell and work just fine. Furthermore I tried the Player_SDK Skeleton which has detached bones aswell. They work fine also. I have no idea what could cause this issue. I also have a really complex rig which took me two weeks to create. Same thing here. When I export it with BCRY, it seems to be broken. Inside the fbx importer it works just fine.weird, looks like attached bones works fine and detached bones failed ? never encounter that problem maybe this is an issue related to recent updates, It been a long time I didn't try to export a skeleton

#103I have an issue with exporting materials. if i create a material and select a color in blender and then click "Generate Materials" everything works fine. but if i click "use nodes" (even if i don't add any nodes or change the diffuse node) and generate materials after that, the material is shown as "replace me" in cryengine. is there anything, i have to do, when using nodes?

#104Have you added any nodes? Like color or something? Try to do that. But the easiest way would be to just modify the value inside Cryengine. Assign a texture (for example the white.dds unter Textures/default/white.dds) and then choose the color you like. Remember that this is not really a PBR workflow.

#105yes, i tried this. actually i wanted to export a material with more nodes. i only reduced the number of nodes to see, where the problem is.

I use Blender 2.79 / CryEngine 3.5 and currently have to export objects with:
- LODs
- snaps (empties)
- proxy
What exports succesfully:
- snaps
- proxy
LODs just do not export at all, without any warnings or errors in console.
