Cryengine Export to Obj/FBX doesn't work

I tried to export a .cgf asset in cryengine to a .FBX or .Obj file, but when I imported it to blender or maya it gives no error but I can't see the model.
I think it's really big or small and far away from the origin.
How can I fix it?
Thank you.

It doesnt work that way, nor should it. Use the sourcefile and export to CGF or FBX from the DCC tool, not from CGF to FBX. CGF files are already compressed and heavily optimized files for CRYENGINE.

Its simple. Don't export from CGF to FBX.

If its Designer Tool objects, export to OBJ or FBX from Designer Tool menu not the File menu.

If its made in Max or Maya, export from there.

Yep, use export from Designer Tools option.
Just in case someone needs it - for Blender often you may don't see the model accurately. Make sure to check settings when importing .obj. Also object in blender may be offset. Simple Ctrl+Shift+Alt+C does the job and you will see the model.

Well, I think in some cases, lets say you want to recover corrupted file and you have only CGF then you would want to export it... That saved me once :)
However agree that one should remember to convert it to designer object first, then export as .obj within DT panel.
