Cannot generate a C++ solution for Visual Studio

Hello. I'm trying to use learn C++ code in CryEngine, and I've gone through the process of downloading and installing the latest version of CMake to do so (by adding a CMake path to the list of paths in my environment variables).

However, when I try to generate a Visual Studio solution from CMake for one of my projects, I get this error:

Therefore, no solution gets generated. I have no idea what to do about this. I have Visual Studio 2017 on my computer, but I'm not a programmer by nature so I don't understand what's happening here nor do I know if I missed a step somewhere between downloading and installing CMake and trying to generate the Visual Studio solution. As such, I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out here.

Hey gerry_95,

CMake is bundled with CRYENGINE so there is no need to download and install your own version.
It appears the CMake system cannot find your Visual Studio Installation. In this case I would advise opening the Visual Studio Installer and trying the Repair Install.
