Key event listener in edit mode

Hi. Is there any way to get input event in editor, but in edit mode?
I know how key listeners work, how to register them, etc.
I tried :
IHardwareMouseEventListener
IInputEventListener
Both interfaces allow me to get events only in game mode in editor, or in game. When in editing mode, it won't work. Is there any special interface for this? I also checked ISystemEventListner, but nothing useful there.

Oh, alright, so I am trying to create a few components, that I will need for my app. Functionality I am looking for is just like river or road entity etc. So I want to click somewhere on the map, and place point there, then click somewhere else, and create line between them, and so on. So like creating kind of path. I guess there is some solution to that, that I am unawate of. Obviously I know how to draw aabb, lines.
